Please read the following notes carefully before downloading:

The Gokeys! application can be downloaded in a number of forms:

  1. If you are a teacher looking to trial the software, please go here.
  2. There can be issues running GoKeys! on Windows 7. There is a fix for this. Please check the McGooFAQ for details.
  3. The simplest way to go is to download the Windows Installer:
    Click here to download the Gokeys! Windows Installer -> gokeys3setup.exe (8MB)
    Please Note:
    • This installs both the standard size Gokeys! and the smaller-windowed Gokeys!_Small.
    • You may need to uninstall a previous version from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel for this to work
  4. By downloading Gokeys! as a self-extracting zip archive file you will get a smaller download.
    • When you run the downloaded file, you will be prompted to select a folder to extract the Gokeys! files into.
    • It is easiest to use the default C:\Program Files\GoKeys, but this is not compulsory.
    • Once unzipped into an appropriate folder, you will just need to run GoKeys!.exe
      (or Gokeys!_Small.exe) to start GoKeys!.
    • If you have installed a previous version of GoKeys!, just extract the new files to the same folder. Your Gokeys.dat data file will not be overwritten.
    • New exercises that are available will automatically be added to the Select Lessons page in GoKeys!
    • If you are using a smaller-screen device with a vertical resolution of 600 pixels, you can use GoKeys! 3.0 Small!.  It has all the features of GoKeys! 3.0 , but in a smaller package!
